Sadly, sex selection abortion to snuff out the lives of unborn baby girls is real.
It is a sad reality that some cultures prioritise boys over girls and will kill to obtain this outcome.
Despite pleas for it to be outlawed, it was not when New South Wales politicians voted for abortion-to-birth back in 2019.
This week Fred Nile, MLC, introduced a Christian Democratic Party bill to outlaw this barbaric and misogynistic practice.
Sadly, the Liberal National Coalition Government headed by Premier Dominic Perrottet is unlikely to support it and it is destined to languish on the notice paper.
But it is important to bring such legislation forward so that evil does not get a free pass.
