Memo to Tony Burke: if Adani wins Queensland wins

Why does Labor hate coal?

Tony Burke’s desire to see Adani lose is further proof a Labor Government will be a kick in the teeth to the Queensland economy.

Labor is so captured by the Greens it cannot bring itself to back coal jobs.

Mr Burke, a potential future environment minister in a Shorten Government, does not seem to care about Central and North Queensland jobs nor the prosperity coal contributes to the entire state.

My message to Tony Burke is if Adani wins, Queensland wins. That means if Labor loses, Queensland wins.

The world is crying out for Australian thermal coal and yet Labor wants to leave it in the ground in the vain hope of saving the planet.

Australia is also crying out for a new coal-fired power station to boost our failing electricity grid.

The wasteful and futile climate policies of both Labor and Liberal are driving the economy off a cliff.
