It’s always worth keeping an eye on woke jurisdictions like California because their ideas are more contagious amongst Australia’s radical Left than the coronavirus.
Last week the Democrat-run California government banned its public servants from travelling to Florida on state business.
If a public works conference was being held at Miami, Californian government engineers are not allowed to go.
The reason? Florida recently passed a law to protect girls’ and women’s sport from biological males.
Because of this outbreak of common-sense and respect for girls and women, Florida is to be treated as a pariah state.
This is chilling stuff folks because where does it lead?
If this catches on it is only a small step to slapping travel bans on those of us who believe marriage is one man and one woman and that gender is binary.
And Florida isn’t the only state California bureaucrats can’t travel to. According to The Australian, “there are now 17 states California’s residents may not use public money to visit, between them comprising about a third of the entire US population”.
Logic must always be extrapolated. If the ban on bureaucrats travelling is allowed to stand, it’s only a matter of time before citizens like you and me also face restrictions to our liberty because of our beliefs.
