Girls’ Olympic dreams crushed

Girls’ Olympic dreams crushed

The Christian Democratic Party will introduce a bill into the New South Wales Parliament banning biological males from competing in girls’ and women’s sports.

For Laurel Hubbard to realise his Olympic dream, a young Kiwi woman’s had to be crushed.

That is the ruthlessness of the LGBTIQA+ movement whose politics now dictates sports – even at the Olympics.

Most Australians did not think (perhaps therein lies the problem) when they voted Yes to de-gender marriage that four years later biological men would be elbowing women out of Olympic selection.

The misinformation of 2017 has morphed into coercive control of journalists today, with press packs issued to Olympic correspondents containing a list of what they were and were not allowed to say about transgender athletes.

News.com.au reports:

Before competition got underway on Monday night, journalists at the venue were given a 20-page guide on how to report appropriately on transgender athletes. Among the guidelines was an instruction not to use the two-word phrase “born male” to describe Hubbard because: “No one is born with a gender identity. Everyone is born a baby and their gender is assigned to them by doctors and family members based on physical sex characteristics that may not correspond to their gender identity as it develops over time.”

That most of the media went along with this only feeds the on-going crisis of trust in mainstream media.

The coverage on Channel 7 tonight was glowing of 43-year-old Hubbard’s history making appearance, despite him crashing out early.

No mention was made of the sacrifice of the young woman who missed out on Olympic selection.

The media seem incurious about her and the other women who also missed the Olympics so men could compete against other women.

During the same-sex marriage campaign, the so-called “Safe Schools” program introduced to children the novel concept that gender is “assigned at birth”.

Now the IOC requires journalist to parrot this fiction.

Anyone who is a parent knows it is a lie.

The Christian Democratic Party will introduce a bill into the New South Wales Parliament banning biological males from competing in girls’ and women’s sports.

This is not because we are anti-any particular identity group. It is because we are pro a fair go for girls and women.

People struggling with their biological gender need all the love and support we can offer. Up-ending female sports will not solve their dysphoria.
